In its unique FitHouse program, Cooking Light creates a concept home like no other a home where you can eat smart, be fit and live well. The Cooking Light FitHouse is an advertiser's chance to be part of something spectacular and grab the attention of our 11.4 million readers in the process. The FitHouse is a yearly home-building project that exemplifies the healthy lifestyle that is the cornerstone of Cooking Light philosophy. Our readers value a healthy home environment and are eager to invest in products that help them eat smart, be fit, and live well especially in the comfort of their own homes. Cooking Light will help advertisers promote their products to valuable consumers as we showcase a home that emphasizes physical, mental, emotional and environmental fitness. Sponsor benefits include in-book and on-line exposure, as well as extensive on-site promotion.
Cooking Light On The Move
Since 1992, Cooking Light has helped sponsors put their message in the hands of active consumers. And we’ve enjoyed amazing success in the process. For 160 public days, our mobile magazine hits the road, visiting upscale grocery chains in major metro markets. Approximately 150,000 consumers come aboard the vehicle and receive recipe cards from Cooking Light (the "editorial") and coupons, samples, recipe booklets and/or premiums from our sponsors (the "advertising"). Then they enter their supermarkets and are greeted by displays of our sponsors’ products. The one-on-one interaction of the program is complemented by extensive promotion of our sponsors’ brands in-book (via full-page ads highlighting the tour schedule and all of our sponsors), online (via a dedicated Web page also showcasing the schedule and our sponsors), in a custom mini-magazine distributed to all tour visitors (“Recipes From the Road”), and a PR campaign. In short, it is a comprehensive, multi-faceted program that gives you more for your dollar than any other marketing retail promotion.
Cooking Light Supper Clubs
The Cooking Light Supper Club phenomenon has taken over many cities throughout the United States. Started by enthusiastic Cooking Light readers in metropolitan cities across the country, Cooking Light Supper Clubs are viewed as a good way to meet new people, share ideas as well as dine on delicious Cooking Light cuisine. Upon arrival, guests are introduced to the theme and enjoy a sampling and mingling reception before dinner and the demonstration begins. After the mood is set, a four-course dining experience begins, allowing guests to savor Cooking Light cuisine while getting insider tips on how to prepare the Supper Club menu, hand-picked by Cooking Light editors. Cooking Light provides advertisers the opportunity to be an official Supper Club Sponsor. Advertisers will also have the opportunity to provide our 180 guests (per event) with information, coupons and gift sample.

Cooking Light offers advertisers the opportunity to sponsor the Cruise and treat all of our passengers to seminars and demonstrations while on board.
